Meeru Island Resort offers a relaxing casual atmosphere. A large island by local standards, much of the island remains untouched, with its natural vegetation intact. It is certainly the resort for you if you would prefer to kick off your shoes and enjoy a casual atmosphere in which to relax. The island is covered in soft white sand. The floors of the reception and other public area are layered with soft sand. As you approach the island you will be surprised at the lack of any man-made structures visible through the thick vegetation of the shoreline, fringed with tall coconut palms.
The island is large enough for you to find your own private little hideaway on the beach for the day. There are a variety of other water-sports and land sports that you will certainly enjoy. None of this is important if you wish to take part in the most popular holiday activity here - relaxation.
Jacuzzi Water Villa
Jacuzzi Water Villas are located over-the-water, in the lagoon…a short walk along your private jetty to this secluded and more spacious hideaway featuring a partial open air bathroom, an outdoor Jacuzzi and stairs into the sea.
The All Inclusive Package includes:
Breakfast (0730 - 0930), Lunch (1230 - 1400), and Dinner (1930 - 2130), served in the Farivalhu Restaurant for guests staying in the Southern end of the island and in the Maalan Restaurant for guests staying in the Northern end of the island, featuring “All You Can Eat” buffets with a variety of menus to please everyone’s taste.
Afternoon Tea served from 1500 to 1800 hours in the Hungaanu Coffee Shop for guests staying in the Southern end of the island and in the Uthuru Bar for guests staying in the Northern end of the island.
